The pope, the mullahs, their prophets, and poor Africans.
As a representative of former “heathen/infidel” victims of swords of christianity and islam, I say both religions stand guilty of what they accuse each other of. As it was, before, during, and many more centuries after the Byzantine era, Christianity used twisted logic and perverted “Hellenic” reasoning to perpetrate injustices and atrocities, and Islam employed intolerance and outright oppression for the same purpose on African soil. None of the two has any right to mount the moral horse. We are still living the legacy of their passage through our shores, even many centuries after.
